Checkerboard Film Foundation is a non-profit documentary film production company founded in 1979.

We document living artists who have made important contributions to the American arts. Our mission is educational and archival.

Upcoming Screenings:

Ellsworth Kelly: Fragments will screen every Friday in the month of May at The Barnes Foundation starting on May 3rd!

Two of our films on Roy Lichtenstein, Reflections and Tokyo Bruststrokes will screen at the Tate Modern every Sunday from April 7th through May 12th, 2013.
